Our Story: Born from a Brutal Retreat
We believe the best adventure stories should never include the phrase, “if only my gear hadn’t failed.”
My name is David, the founder of aocoos. It all started back in 2014.
During a demanding trek on Jebel Toubkal, my backpack’s shoulder snapped under pressure. The brutal, makeshift retreat that followed was more than just an inconvenience; it was a revelation. I realized that for people who truly live for the outdoors, reliable gear isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline.
I was tired of big-name brands that looked the part but failed at the critical moment. Right there, exhausted and frustrated, an idea took root: Why not build the gear that I, and others like me, could truly depend on?
Our Philosophy
From that day forward, aocoos was born. Our mission is singular and unyielding: To create outdoor gear that refuses to compromise, no matter the conditions.
We are obsessed with the details. From sourcing military-grade Cordura fabric to stress-testing every single zipper and buckle a thousand times over, we believe that “durability” isn’t just a feature; it’s the foundation of everything we design.
